What we document before recommending a Costa Rican dentist.
We document the provider information we can verify before we recommend a clinic. This does not guarantee an outcome, but it helps you make a more informed decision.
Active licensure
Current registration with the relevant Costa Rican dental authority.
Specialty registration
Where a specialty is claimed (e.g. prosthodontics, endodontics), we verify the registration.
Facility habilitation
Evidence the operating facility holds appropriate health-authority habilitation.
Imaging and lab workflow
On-site or partnered imaging, and lab partnerships used for crowns, bridges, and veneers.
Sterilization and infection control
Written sterilization protocol and equipment documentation.
Languages
English proficiency of the treating dentist and on-site team supporting your visit.
Sedation / anesthesia arrangement
If sedation is involved, the qualifications and arrangement are documented.
Emergency response pathway
What the clinic does, and who is contacted, in the event of an in-chair emergency.
Records access
How you receive your records, radiographs, and prosthetic specifications after care.
Malpractice / financial responsibility
Evidence where available; absence is disclosed rather than concealed.
Outcome and complaint monitoring
Patient outcomes and complaints we monitor over time as part of ongoing coordination.
We do not publish blanket “best clinic” claims. Each dossier is prepared for an individual case and reviewed against the procedure type, sedation needs, and return-home plan applicable to that patient.
